I have to say I’m really chuffed for the hubby.  He spotted that Neil Gaiman might be coming to Dublin for the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival so he asked him if he wanted to come in a sign a few of the books they have in store?  It has gone from that to a 2 hour reading/performance (special musical guest) and signing.

From Neils Blog:

(Which reminds me: Jameson Dublin Film Festival. I’ll be there on February the 15th, when they will be screening Coraline. And, for anyone in Dublin — or indeed, in Ireland — who missed the signing last year, I will be doing a reading and signing in Chapters in Parnell Street on Feb the 17th at 5pm. Perhaps with an as-yet-unnamed Special Musical Guest.)

So there has been much celebrating.

Anyway the plan for the rest of the evening is to watch the extended QI for tomorrow we are off to the museum with my sister and and her daughter.  I don’t think I mentioned this here but I’m totally in love with my niece – it might be ’cause I can hand her back or it might just that she is adorable.  I must remember to bring my camera with me.

As I type I'm 40 odd yrs. Sometimes very odd :) I'm married and have 2 cats - Oscar & Daisy. I love to cook, craft, read & watch TV This is to be the place that makes me smile.
