Dublin Faces In Art

Yesterday we were strolling around Dublin city centre in the rain and came across a few faces of famous Dublin folk  – some are still part of the collective consciousness, some not so well remembered.

The recently departed Frank Kelly:

Then we stumbled across a box with two images – Matt Talbot on one side (we’ll say nothing about the addition that has been made):

and Bang Bang on the other:

and finally a face and a name I didn’t recognise – Cedric Gibbons (the link it well worth reading if you’re interested in the film industry as his picture suggests)
